Who are we ?

We are Dorothée and Olivier. We created the Fondation Altitudes in October 2024 to support social entrepreneurs in developing their initiatives to create a fairer and more fulfilling school system.

We both come from the business world and want to put our expertise, resources, network, and energy to work for the common good. Grassroots organizations are tremendous laboratories for social innovation: they design and implement solutions that tangibly improve the lives of children, families, and educational teams. However, many lack the structural resources to consolidate and scale up—this is where we provide our support through a form of philanthropy that is committed and based on trust, high standards, debate, and working together.

Aware of the complexity of educational issues, we complement this pragmatic support with a more systemic approach in order to better understand the root causes, avoid side effects, and contribute—at our level—to sustainable collective transformation.

Empowering social entrepreneurs to scale their initiatives and amplify their impact on society.

I am deeply convinced that a more inclusive and transformative education is a key pillar for building social harmony and employability.

As one of the founders and acting global COO of Foundever, I’ve had the privilege of helping shape the customer experience management industry for over 30 years. I co-founded Groupe Acticall in France and have since been dedicated to building high-performing teams and driving operational excellence on a global scale.

Passionate about people, education and social entrepreneurship, I set up Foundever.org, our non-profit organization, focused on providing educational and skill-building opportunities to underserved communities worldwide.

Joining the Ashoka network ten years ago also allowed me to support social entrepreneur Frédéric Bardeau, founder of Simplon.co, and advocate for greater inclusion in the digital sector. To expand this commitment, I recently launched the Altitudes Foundation, dedicated to promoting equal educational opportunities in France. I believe that investing in education is crucial for fostering social cohesion and equipping the next generation with the skills needed to thrive in a complex world.

Living in the US for the last 8 years now, I strive to serve as a bridge between France and the U.S., leveraging my experience to create synergies that benefit both countries. I am also honored to serve as President of the U.S. Education Foundation of Skema Business School, to provide scholarships for students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Co-founded Groupe Acticall

which became one of France’s largest customer relationship management companies.

2015

Joined Ashoka Support Network paired with Frédéric Bardeau, founder of Simplon.co

Simplon.co is a social enterprise offering intensive digital training programs to promote digital inclusion and employability, particularly for underrepresented groups in tech.

2016

Groupe Acticall acquired Sitel, the newly created Sitel Group

successfully combined the DNA of both companies: the 30+ years of experience and global footprint of Sitel with the entrepreneurial mindset and digital vision of Groupe Acticall – all backed by long-term shareholders, Creadev.

2019

Sitel Group launched My Associate Experience (MAX)

setting the tone in the CX BPO industry for an enhanced focus on the employee experience. MAX is a concrete commitment to improving the employee experience through digital and social collaborations with the people – especially the frontline agents – of the company.

2021

Sitel Group acquired Tampa-based Sykes Enterprises, Inc.

an American multinational BPO provider founded in 1977. This acquisition elevated the company’s influence as a top 3 global CX leader.

2023

President of the U.S. Education Foundation of Skema Business School

which provides scholarships for students from underprivileged backgrounds.

Education is an investment in the younger generation who will inherit the complex challenges of our time.

I grew up observing differences in social backgrounds and wondering what truly shapes a child’s path. Over time, I came to understand how deeply socio-economic conditions can influence a young person’s future—often far beyond what they can control.

I was fortunate to grow up in a supportive environment and to meet two exceptional teachers who profoundly shaped my own trajectory. They gave me confidence and helped me imagine a wider horizon.

After fifteen years in entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, I developed expertise in digital transformation, experience design, program development, partnerships, and human capital. Today, I bring these skills to the service of the Altitudes Foundation.

Working within the Altitudes Foundation is, for me, a very concrete way to help improve educational pathways. I see education as an essential investment in the generation that will face tomorrow’s challenges. And I choose to bring my optimism, creativity, and energy to this effort.
